How it began

From a home kitchen to catering & hospitality

Before Almher became a name in catering and hospitality, it began with a love for creating events and bringing every detail together, from the setting and atmosphere to the smallest touches that make an occasion feel truly special. Food was always at the heart of it.

Time after time, guests would enjoy the food and ask: "This tastes like home. Why don't you do the catering too?"

That simple question sparked an idea. What if the entire experience could come from one place? The food, the hospitality, the presentation and every detail, all thoughtfully brought together under one vision.

Growing up

2019 to today

In 2019, Almher Kitchen was born. It began as a home-based kitchen, serving food with the warmth and authenticity of a home-cooked meal, while bringing together Emirati favourites and international flavours.

With every order, every event, every returning client and every recommendation, Almher grew beyond the home where it first began.

By 2024, "Almher Kitchen" no longer reflected everything we had become. A new chapter began as Almher Catering & Hospitality, offering a complete catering and hospitality experience for private occasions, corporate events, government entities and special celebrations.

The name

Why "Almher"?

It is one of the questions we are asked most often, and the answer is very close to our hearts.

The name "Almher" was inspired by Mahra, the founder's daughter. "Almher" came naturally as a shortened, affectionate way of referring to her, making the name part of the family long before it became a brand.

So, just like Almher itself, the name began at home.

From home came the name. From passion came the journey.
